Column Mount Operators

Column Mount Operators are an Excellent Choice for any install with pillars or columns on the side and where the appearance is of primary importance but you want to avoid the inconvenience and difficulty of installing an underground operator. This style of operator is a good pick for bi-parting gates or dual swinging garage doors. This configuration is suitable for lighter weight gates with low usage, but should not be installed on a large gate or one with solid infill panels. We carry models from Platinum Access, Doorking, FAAC, and Viking Access. All models use a 24VDC motor with a set of batteries to provide backup power in case of power outage and house the control board in a separate cabinet from the motor itself.
